The Finance Department is dedicated to providing residents and businesses with exceptional government financial management. The strength of Elk Grove's financial standing is demonstrated through the Village's municipal bond rating of AA+ by Standard & Poor's Investor Services. Additionally, the Finance Department’s commitment to financial excellence has been recognized nationally by the Government Finance Officers Association, which has presented the department with the Certificate for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for more than 30 consecutive years.
