Park and Recreation

The Elk Grove Park District maintains approximately

 

473 acres, including 44 parks, 3 olympic size swimming

pools, and 11 public tennis courts. Its outstanding feature

is the Jack A. Claes Pavilion. The Pavilion amenities

include a 28-foot Carousel, indoor playground, Fitness

Center, banquet room, arts and craft rooms, dance studio,

racquetball courts, 2 gymnasiums, indoor and 2 outdoor

swimming pools. The Park District also operates a Senior

Citizen Center, Preschool, Teen Center, Audubon Skate

Park, Rainbow Falls Water Theme Park, Pirates Cove

Children's Theme Park, Fox Run Golf Course and
